Praise means to say good things. Fill your highest praise with joy and love. Today, celebrate God’s goodness and grace for He died for you and He loves you.
What good does this do to tell God that He is Lord and Master of the universe? Being complete within Himself, God does not need our praise.
Again and again, throughout Scripture, we are enjoined, instructed, commanded and reminded to praise God. To bless His name. To burst forth in worship during which we say things like “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessings”
Psalm 96:4, “For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.”
God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.
