With a New year comes NEW blessings, With each passing new year, we have new hope and new beginnings.  We are filled with new goals, dreams and our annual new ‘word’ for the year.

Now that the “new” is upon us, make sure you take the time to assess and let go of the “old” for 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

I pray this scripture over your life in this new year, Romans 15:13, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”

This week’s activity: Stay forward thinking.  Keep focus on God and what He has in store for you in this new year.  What new, healthy habits will you pick up?  What old, unhealthy habits will you let go of? As we enter a new year, it’s time to say YES to a new thing.
