Do you sometime find yourself blaming others for the choices you make that are not pleasing to God? Have you heard people say, “My dad drank, so that’s why I drank” Or, “gambling runs in my family, so I’m destined to be a gambler?” You have the opportunity to make better choices. Don’t blame others for your short comings. The Israelites, wanted to blame their forefathers for their shortcomings. God spoke to Ezekiel and had him to let them know, they could not blame their forefathers for the things they were doing. Commit to doing what is right in God’s eyes and stop allowing yourself to play the blame game.
Ezekiel 18: 30 “Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord God. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so, iniquity shall not be your ruin.
