Antonio Brown continues To Make Headlines, Now He Has Been Accused Of Rape And Sexual Assault
The New England Patriots’ new star receiver Antonio Brown has been accused of sexual assault and rape in a federal lawsuit, which was filed Tuesday in the Southern District of Florida.
The lawsuit claims that Brown, in three separate incidents, sexually assaulted and forced himself on a woman named Britney Taylor.
Two incidents in June 2017 and one in May 2018.
Brown’s attorney, Darren Heitner, issued a statement saying Brown “denies each and every allegation in the lawsuit.” Further, Heitner said, Brown will be pursuing “all legal remedies” to clear his name. CBS News has confirmed Brown plans to countersue.
Brown, who joined the Patriots on Monday, is scheduled to have his first practice with the team Wednesday. In a statement, the Patriots said they are aware of the lawsuit filed against Brown.
