Self-driving cars expected to dominate Charlotte roads by 2030, it may seem a long way off but NC law makers are preparing for the future right now.
State law HB 469 says how driverless cars would be regulated in North Carolina. There will be no driver’s license required to operate, children as young as 12 can ride unaccompanied by an adult and the vehicle must stop if involved in a crash.
