Kanye West Cost ‘Carpool Karaoke’ HOW MUCH By Not Showing Up?
James Corden laid it down for Kris Jenner on what happened with Kanye West in regards to ‘Carpool Karaoke.’
Corden said, according to XXL, the following:
“We’ve tried. He’s canceled, twice. Maybe even three times… He canceled once as I was turning the corner to his house. I was outside his house and they were like, ‘He’s not in the zone for it right now. We’ll do it another time.’”
He did say that Ye sent apology gifts, a flower cube and a pair of Yeezy’s, but he did note that the canceled appearances amounted to $45,000 total.
People are shocked they cost that much but you have to count for multiple caravan cars, camera crews, and I’m betting that it also costs to book the talent as well, so if Corden had to find someone to replace Kanye’s episode, that also takes time and money on the back end.
It’ll be interesting to see now that this has come up to Kris Jenner and publicly, that maybe Ye will finally be in “the zone” for doing the appearance.
