25 Foot Long Snake And Others Removed From North Carolina House
I have fairly strong feelings when it comes to snakes being kept as pets after the “Raleigh Cobra” incidents. At least venomous, large, or non-native snakes. Now we have another story involving pet snakes. Tarboro Animal Services and Detectives conducted an animal welfare check thanks to a tip received. There, officials found several animals including a 25 foot long snake and 14 others. The snakes appeared to be living in terrible conditions. The 25 foot long snake was the largest but 3 others were over 19 feet.
The snakes were removed from the home and turned over to Fresh Start Rescue in Wilmington, NC. The owner will face charges that are currently pending.
After a 911 caller asked police to check on the welfare of some animals in Tarboro, officials said more than a dozen snakes were seized by authorities. https://t.co/FAJHXcxO2y
