North Carolina Police Department Looking For Owners Of Lost Pig Being Referred To As “Bacon”
This little piggy went to the police department. Do you live in the Boone area? Do you live in the Boone area and are missing a pig? If so the Town of Boone Police Department is looking for you. The North Carolina mountain town police department took to social media hoping to find the owners of the lost pig. They have temporarily named the animal “Bacon”. The post, shared on Facebook says that Bacon came running across the road (Blowing Rock Road) after falling out of the vehicle he was traveling in. Luckily he was safe and headed right to a safe location.
After making a joke about how they are hiring (hey in this job market I don’t blame them, especially considering this story is getting publicity) they said that Bacon has been moved to the nearby Watauga County Sherriff’s office. Bacon will remain there for “safekeeping” until he can be reunited with his family.
The North Carolina police department asks that if you have any info about the lost pig, who he belongs to, or if you saw its escape, to please call 828-268-6900. Hopefully, Bacon will be returned to his rightful owners, and not become actual bacon. One thing is for sure, he’s had some excitement in his life! See the post and photos of Bacon below.
