Dishin’ With Debbie-Pierogies With Classic Meatballs And Vodka Sauce
It is truly a joy to discover new ways to incorporate Mrs. T’s Pierogies into dishes each week. The yummy semi-circle pockets of dough filled with potatoes, cheese, and a variety of ingredients are so versatile. They are delicious steamed, boiled, sautéed, or baked.
I’ve enjoyed Mrs. T’s Pierogies in stir fry dishes, fajitas, pot pies, and now, with meatballs in a vodka sauce. I chose this recipe because vodka sauce is my son’s favorite. This homemade version is super simple and so flavorful. I’ll never buy the jarred stuff again!
I did use pre-made frozen meatballs as a bit of a short-cut hack. Feel free to make your own, though. I highly recommend this dish the whole family will enjoy on a cool Fall evening. And, be sure to pick up Mrs. T’s Pierogies in the blue box in the freezer section of your favorite grocery store.
