North Carolina Father Says ‘Friends’ Planned Daughters Attack (Audio)
The country has been both buzzing and fuming over the death of 25-year-old Shanquella Robinson of Charlotte, NC. Robinson was fatally attacked while vacationing with friends in Cabo. Robinson’s father says her ‘friends’ are the culprits. He believes the attack on his daughter last month was a set up.
Authorities continue to investigate Robinson’s mysterious death. But, here is what we know so far. A video captured Robinson being assaulted by one of her friends. She’s seen at one point, naked in the room of a villa being thrown to the floor and punched several times in her face and other parts of her body.
The person shooting the video is heard telling Robinson to “at least fight back.” Robinson’s father, Bernard, told TMZ that his daughter was not a fighter. He believes she was set up. He says her friends called him and his wife a day after they were in Cabo and told them Robinson wasn’t feeling well. They eventually told them she died of alcohol poisoning.
An autopsy has since revealed Robinson died from a cracked spine. A hotel housekeeper found her body. So far, no charges have been filed against the four friends who traveled with Robinson. Mexican authorities and the FBI are investigating the death.
