Cash For Cockroaches: North Carolina Company Will Pay To Infest Your Home
Want to make $2,000 the hard way? According to Fox News, that’s how much a North Carolina pest control company will pay you for allowing them to release 100 American cockroaches into your home. The Pest Informer is hoping a few folks will take them up on this offer so they can test the effectiveness of “a specific pest control technique,” which they say is safe for families and pets.
Five to seven households will be selected for the 30-day study. The agreement with the Raleigh-based company will also include permission to film the testing of their cockroach treatment. If the infestation isn’t gone by the end of the study, The Pest Informer says it will use “traditional cockroach treatment options at no cost.”
Interested in volunteering your home in the name of pest control? Here are the application and requirements:
- You must own the home or have written approval from the homeowner.
- You must be 21 years or older to qualify.
- You must be located in the Continental United States.
- You must not try any additional cockroach treatments during the study.
