Injuries are just part of the game of football. You play long enough and a high level and it’s inevitable. And teams know that and know that they at some point will be paying players not to pay. But the luck of the draw when it comes to injuries can make or break a team. And some bad luck means teams are paying a pretty penny for a player who can’t even touch the field.

Many times it’s the team that can stay the healthiest that comes out on top. A new study by Pickswise found out which NFL players’ injuries have cost their teams the most money in the last 5 years. They also looked at who cost their team the most in the 2021 season.
