Supporters who incite their team at the stadium

As the big game slowly approaches, we wonder about the best cities that are the best for football fans. When it comes to tailgating and enjoying a game, we always want to be around the people that have the most fun. It’s about more than just wearing your team’s jersey, but cheering them on from the stands to the parking lot to the couch on game day.

WalletHub conducted a study to determine the best and worst cities for football fans in America. You may or may not be surprised by the results. WalletHub compared more than 240 U.S. cities to determine the results. The cities have at least one college or professional football team across 21 metrics. Everything from the number of teams to stadium capacity and fan engagement was taken into consideration. Charlotte, North Carolina did make it up in the upper area of the list coming in at No. 25. But, one surprise was a South Carolina college town. Can you guess where? Clemson came in at No. 29 as one of the best cities for football fans. Are you surprised though? I grew up in the Carolinas and seeing how Clemson fans go all out for their school I could see why football fans would enjoy this city.

What are some other cities you expect to see on the list? Check out the full report here.
