Florida Teachers Turn School Desks Into Jeeps To Make Students Less Afraid
Now this is proof our teachers deserve a pay raise, extended vacation, bonuses and honestly anything else we can give them. I say this after learning of two teachers in DeLand, Florida that channeled their creative side. Both Patricia Dovi and Kim Martin of Saint Barnabas Episcopal School took a week to ‘redesign’ the desks at their elementary school.
They reasoned that with coronavirus cases on the rise and students returning to the classroom, that students would be less excited and more fearful. They wanted to curb that fear so they turned the students desks into jeeps.
Looks pretty inviting to me!
