Could A “Friday Night Lights” Reunion Be in the Works?
If you’ve been holding out hope for a Friday Night Lights reunion, it looks like your dreams still have the potential to come true.
Originally, Kyle Chandler (aka Coach Taylor) had said that Connie Britton (who played his wife, Tami Taylor) was the reason that a reunion wouldn’t be happening. “Connie Britton is the hold-out. She won’t. So, I’m not going to do it without her,” he had told Us magazine at the premiere of his Netflix show Bloodline.
However, it appears that this might not actually be the case.
Britton appeared on the Today show and noted, “Do you know, I just saw Kyle Chandler said that it’s because of me that we’re not doing a reunion. I thought all this time it was because of him. My feeling is, listen, if he wants to do a reunion — I love Kyle, I love the show. I’m just saying, I don’t want to be the hold out here.”
Come on, let’s make this happen! We’re ready to have Tim Riggins, Coach and Tami, and the rest of the Friday Night Lights crew back on our TV screen. Texas forever!
