It's a dream come true for fashionistas like me! One of my favorite stores is headed to the Queen City. Zara, a Spanish retailer,  plans to open a store in SouthPark mall.

It's a part of Zara's larger plan to open or upgrade some 30 stores across the country, according to Insider. In case you're not familiar with Zara, think of H&M meets Nordstrom with a little Neiman Marcus mixed in. It's a trendy and chic store for both men and women. From funky clothes, and classic pieces, to shoes and jewelry, it's my go-to fashion boutique.

I first learned about Zara during a trip to Disney World. I was at the Disney Springs theme park where they have a lot of adult entertainment and restaurants and of course, shopping. I had no idea what this place was. At first, I thought it was like a Forever 21, then quickly learned that it's actually a step or two up from that.

Nonetheless, Zara will be in SouthPark mall in 2025.  Right now, the closest store to Charlotte is in Atlanta. Zara currently has fewer than 100 stores across the U.S.
