More women are tossing tradition to the wind. They are saying 'no more white dresses'. We want to wear black. In fact, wearing a black wedding dress is IN.

According to Google Trends, over the past 12 months, searches for "black wedding dress" are at the same pace as searches for "white wedding dress". And in Sept and Oct 2021, "black wedding dress" was searched more than "white wedding dress" on Google.

One bridal expert from David Bridal said, "This is by far our favorite trend and we are loving it. Black gowns are chic and dramatic." The trend has soared to the point where David's Bridal now offers black versions of its most popular wedding gown styles in select stores this fall. And customers can already buy those options in black on its website.

Here are some of the new black wedding dress styles.
