Carolina Panthers to Surprise 20 Charlotte Area Volunteer Coaches
It’s time for a big surprise for local Charlotte area coaches! Ahead of fall football, Academy Sports + Outdoors and the Carolina Panthers have partnered to provide 14 area football coaches with a customized Coach’s Kit and six cheerleading coaches with a $200 Academy gift card. The selected coaches volunteer with youth athletes through the local Police Activity League.
Academy Sports + Outdoors will surprise these deserving coaches with their customized kits and gift cards at their first practice of the season. The custom kits will provide football training equipment such as cones, whistles, mouthpieces, a first aid kit, and much more and the $200 Academy gift card will enable the cheer coaches to prepare for the upcoming season.
Carolina Panthers Shaq Thompson and Christian McCaffrey took part in the creation of a special video to thank these coaches for all that they do. This will be at the Bank of America Stadium Game Field on Wednesday, August 11th at 6:30 p.m.
