“My Little Pony” Cartoon Debuts Same-Sex Couple

They’re not sisters or live-in gal pals. They are a legitimate romantic couple.
Coinciding with Pride Month, the children’s TV show “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic” is introducing a lesbian pony couple on its next episode titled “The Last Crusade” to round out its final season.
Young Scootaloo’s family, who have been missing in action for the entirety of the series, are finally introduced as Aunt Holiday and Auntie Lofty.
It’s already been aired in Europe and will air in the U.S. on June 15.
