Look out! Justin Timberlake is coming back to the Super Bowl! You know we haven’t seen him since the wardrobe debacle with Janet Jackson. You remember – Justin snatched Janet’s top off and one of her breasts ended up popping out. Some 140 million people saw it.
Well, it’s been a minute since that Super XXXVIII back in 2004 and now Justin is making his way back to the main stage. He announced yesterday on twitter that he will perform in Super Bowl LII’s halftime show on Feb. 4 in Minneapolis.
Because of that “wardrobe malfunction”, there were several questions like what is really an accident or was it intentional?
Nonetheless, Justin has apologized for the incident. But, the network didn’t go completely unscathed. CBS was hit with a $550,000 fine by the Federal Communications Commission. It was later tossed out by the Supreme Court, however broadcasters are now doing a short video delay for live events.
Super Bowl LII will air on NBC.
