LeBron James Brings Podcast Live Show to North Carolina HBCU
He has been called one of the greatest professional basketball players since Michael Jordan and now LeBron James will hit the streets of North Carolina for the Greatest Homecoming On Earth (GHOE) at North Carolina A&T State University.
James is bringing his talk show to three Historically Black colleges and A&T is one of them. The show, called “The Shop UNINTERRUPTED”, features James and businessman Maverick Carter. They, along with celebrity guests, have real conversations and debates on sports, culture, and more in a barbershop setting.
The show will make an appearance at A&T on Thursday, Nov. 2 during the school’s homecoming week. It has already been on the campuses of Tennessee State University (Oct. 13) and Hampton University (Oct. 27) during the week of those school’s homecoming weeks.
In addition to a live taping of the show, there will also be interactive elements, including free haircuts, a basketball skill showcase station, and a t-shirt design station, among other activities.
The show is part of and supported by AT&T Dream In Black initiative. It’s the show’s first time visiting HBCUs to cultivate conversations among the next generation of Black innovators. Taco Bell, Toyota, and Twix are also supporting the event.
