Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith Might Write A Book Together
Now that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are both published authors, the two might be planning to write again…together. Jada’s memoir Worthy hit bookstores earlier this week, and she said while the book tells you a lot about her life, it is very “streamlined,” and it is only the beginning of her author journey.
“So there’s definitely other books to come,” she said, per HipHopDX. “I mean, even Will and I are thinking about writing a book,” Jada revealed. “We were talking about this last night, writing a book called ‘Don’t Try This at Home,’ where he and I kind of sit down and talk about our specific journey together.”
Jada Pinkett Smith Opens Up About Her Relationship With Will Smith In New Book
Jada and Will’s relationship has been at the center of headlines during her book rollout. One of the bigger bombshells was that she and Will had been separated for seven years.
“I think by the time we got to 2016, we were just exhausted with trying. I think we were both kind of just still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be,” the Red Table Talk host shared with Today’s Hoda Kotb.
Will responded to the headlines in a brief email to The New York Times: “When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life, a sort of emotional blindness sets in, and you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties.”
The couple got married in 1997, and they share two children together: son Jaden Smith and daughter Willow Smith. Will also has a son, Trey Smith, with his ex-wife Sheree Zampino. They got divorced in 1995 after three years of marriage.
“Worthy” is now available in stores and online at select retailers.
