Cardi B Suspect For Battery After Throwing Microphone At Fan
Cardi B is listed as a suspect for battery after throwing a microphone at a fan. While the “Up” rapper was performing in Las Vegas at Drai’s Beachclub on Saturday (July 29), an audience member threw a drink at her while she was performing her breakout hit “Bodak Yellow.” Cardi instantaneously chucked her microphone at the individual. The video ,which has been circling social media, shows the “fan” being escorted out by security. Shortly after the incident, Cardi also exited the stage.
However, following the incident, the woman who Cardi threw the microphone at reported it to Las Vegas Police, TMZ reports. It’s unclear if the woman told law enforcement that she threw her drink at Cardi.
This was not the only incident that occurred with Cardi B this weekend. On Friday, the Bronx native was seen throwing her microphone at a DJ. The reason behind that incident is that the DJ appears to have cut her song off early. The incident was caught on video. This occurred at Drai’s Nightclub.

This follows a trend of audience members at concerts chucking items at artists while performing. It has so far happened to Drake, Kelsea Ballerini, Harry Styles and Bebe Rexha while on tour.
In other Cardi news, the rapper just joined her husband Offset on a new song, “Jealousy.” The new record will be a part of Offset’s upcoming album.
“Jealousy” samples the Three 6 Mafia track “Jealous A– Bitches” while their album artwork, and pays homage to the 2001 John Singleton-directed classic Baby Boy starring Tyrese Gibson and Taraji P. Henson.
This is not the couple’s first collab in the studio. Offset and Cardi B have previously worked together on “Um Yea,” “Lick (Remix),” “MotorSport,” “Drip” and “Clout.”
The release of “Jealousy” follows the rap couple’s very public back and forth. Offset accused Cardi B of cheating on him with another man.
Last month, according to Page Six, Offset posted and then deleted the following claim, “My wife f—– a n—- on me gang yall n—- know how I come.”
Cardi hopped on Twitter Spaces where she began singing Keyshia Cole’s “I Should Have Cheated,” and began, “Don’t pay attention to the country man, y’all. I’m f—– Cardi B. If I was giving this p—- to anybody, it would be out. I’m just not anybody,” she said. “I can’t [be] f—– no regular degular shmegular because they gon tell the world. I can’t f— nobody in the industry cause they gon tell too. So please boy, stop acting stupid. Don’t play with me.”
Cardi B and Offset met in 2016 and began dating the following year. They secretly got married on September 20, 2017 but kept it underwraps until 2018.
