North Carolina City One of the Best Cheap Romantic Getaways

We know February is right around the corner. With that being said, Valentine’s Day is approaching us slowly. If you have not begun the planning for your significant other, then you may want to get on it. Some people want to be a bit cost-conscious when it comes to Valentine’s Day, but you can still keep it romantic. A quick, weekend getaway can be one of the best things to get into with your partner.

Travel U.S. News is naming their best cheap romantic getaways in the United States. If you want to save a little money and enjoy time with your partner, then you may want to think about a fun little road trip. Luckily for us, one North Carolina city has made the top 14 list. This city is not only great for romance but also for the activities you and your partner will get to enjoy. Coming in at No. 10, Asheville, North Carolina made the list. Why should you go to Asheville? The quaint mountain town will allow you to experience good food, great cuisine, and more!

I know this year I am wanting to travel a lot more, so why not this cute little romantic getaway to start? These Were The Most Diverse Cities And Towns In North Carolina In The Year 2022

Diversity is an integral part of our society. But let’s face it, some places are more diverse than others. So if diversity is a priority for you in choosing a place to settle down then you will want to keep reading. The researchers at HomeSnacks.com ranked all 138 cities and towns in North Carolina by using Census data from the  2016-2020 American Community Survey data from the US Census. Using this data the researchers calculated the HHI for each city. They did this by finding the racial breakdown of a city in percentage, squaring them, and then adding the squares together. This left us with scores ranging from 2,854 to 9,408. From there they ranked each city based on the HHI with a lower score being more diverse than a high one. And that brings us to the most diverse cities and towns in North Carolina.

The rankings are made up of a mix of cities and towns of various sizes. The largest city in the state made the top 3. But so did towns with a population of less than 10,000. This is a great sign that diversity can be found throughout the state of North Carolina. So what cities are the most diverse in North Carolina?
