Takeoff: Alleged Murderer Arrested In Houston
Takeoff’s alleged murderer has been arrested in Houston, TMZ reports. The Houston Police Department announced Friday (Dec. 2) that they have arrested 33-year-old Patrick Clark and charged him with the murder of Takeoff. No additional details were given at this time.
As we previously reported, Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston in the early hours of Nov. 1. Quavo, Takeoff’s uncle and groupmate was on the scene, but was unhurt. Takeoff was shot in the head and torso according to the coroner’s report and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other victims — a 23-year-old male and 24-year-old female — checked themselves into a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, per Billboard. It was later reported that the 23-year-old male victim was Quavo’s Assistant, Joshua ‘Wash’ Washington, per TMZ.
This arrest follows rapper Lil Cam 5th (born Joshua Cameron) who was reportedly arrested for a felony charge of unlawfuly carrying of a weapon the night of Takeoff's murder. There is heavy speculation that this arrest is in connection to Takeoff’s investigation. However, the connection has not been officially drawn.
