Tyga Responds To OnlyFans’ Stance On Adult Content, Makes New Platform
Like most Americans, Tyga was critical of OnlyFans’ previous stance on no longer hosting “adult content” from their site. Unlike most Americans, Tyga has launched his own adult content website in spite of the new restrictions.
The California rapper made an OnlyFans account after his nudes were leaked but has since deleted his account for a new business venture in the adult entertainment industry called MyyStarr.
According to the press release, MyyStar will give users, “the creative freedom they deserve,” and will only take 10 percent from creators’ earnings as opposed to OnlyFans, which takes 20 percent.
OnlyFans tweeted out the policy change last week, which led to a social media frenzy. “Dear Sex Workers, The OnlyFans community would not be what it is today without you. The policy change was necessary to secure banking and payment services to support you. We are working around the clock to come up with solutions. #SexWorkIsWork,” yet many blamed the platform for not defending the sex workers that made the platform so popular.

OnlyFans tweeted out Tuesday retracting their previous statement after the backlash, “Thank you to everyone for making your voices heard. We have secured assurances necessary to support our diverse creator community and have suspended the planned October 1 policy change. OnlyFans stands for inclusion and we will continue to provide a home for all creators.”
The platform added, “An official communication to creators will be emailed shortly.”
Thank you to everyone for making your voices heard.

We have secured assurances necessary to support our diverse creator community and have suspended the planned October 1 policy change.
OnlyFans stands for inclusion and we will continue to provide a home for all creators.
But the platform may have moved a little too slowly for Tyga since he’s already moved on.
Look how Twitter has responded to the platform backpedaling on its original stance:
