Stay At Home St. Patrick’s Day Drink Ideas
Get out your Guinness and green attire we are just two short weeks away from St. Patty’s Day! While plenty of people are itching to get out of house and celebrate, a stay at home celebration may be more your style. And we’ve got you covered with plenty of St. Patrick’s Day Drinks!
Any good party starts with the drinks. You can go classic with the Guinness- it’s never a bad decision and it’s the easiest which no one ever complained about. If this is the route you’re going I’d suggest buying now don’t wait till the last minute as you could be driving all over town on a hunt!
Or if you’re craving the traditional green beer from the bar crawl grab your favorite light beer and put in few drops of green food coloring. Even better it will be a fraction of the cost!
Beer not your go-to? A little green food coloring can make any drink a little more festive and Instagramable. But don’t worry there are also plenty of fun drinks for everyone (thanks to my Pinterest obsession)!
This is one I’ll definitely be making- The Pot of Gold Cocktail, it’s a twist on the always refreshing mule. The drink combines vodka, elderflower liqueor, cucumber, mint, and ginger beer. Get the full recipe here .
How about a boozy Shamrock Shake? Vanilla milkshake, peppermint schnapps, and vodka? Yes please! This one could easily be modified for a kid-friendly drink as well.
Last but not least is the green mimosa, the perfect way to start your St. Patty’s Day Celebration off right! This simple twist on the brunch staple just requires one additional ingredient to give it a gorgeous shade of green and you might not guess what it is- blue curaçao! Mixed with with orange juice and your favorite sparkling wine it creates a festive and tasty treat!
