COVID Vaccine Group 3 Begins with Essential Educational Workers

Getting your COVID-19 vaccine is an important step in helping to lower the spread of COVID-19. PreK-12 and child care workers are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine in addition to Front-line healthcare workers and all adults age 65+.

If you are listed in group 3 COVID-19 vaccines are now being scheduled. If you work in-person at a child care center or PreK-12 educational facility, you are encouraged to schedule your appointment. As many of you know, vaccine supplies are limited across North Carolina and appointments will most likely fill quickly. Multiple vaccine clinics and healthcare facilities will open on Wednesday for teachers, but all require an appointment.
