A Gastonia Based Textile Plant Gears Up To Make 10 Million Face Masks Per Week
Parkdale Mills based out of Gastonia is “heeding the call of the nation” and is organizing a national effort to ramp up production of face masks.
One of the reported deficiencies in health supplies is the lack of adequate numbers of face masks. Parkdale wants to change that. They are working with companies like Hanes and Fruit of the Loom according to the National Council of Textile Operations. I am guessing this will help put lots of people to work.
