Wendy Williams & Kevin Hunter Are Officially Divorced
Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter are both officially back on the market as the former couple is officially divorced, as TMZ reports.
On Tuesday (Jan. 21) a New Jersey judge gave Williams’ final judgment the stamp of approval.
Proceeds from the former couple’s Livingston, New Jersey home that they put up for sale will eventually be split 50/50. However, Williams is allowed to keep the home that they have in Florida, where her mother lives. Hunter will be keeping the proceeds from another home that he owned and recently sold in Morristown, New Jersey.
According to the court documents, Williams and Hunter both owned equal shares of their production company, and apparently Hunter has plans to sell his portion to Williams, making her the sole owner of the company. However, she has to pay Hunter a lump sum and a severance package. The amount is confidential.
Williams will also be keeping all of the former couple’s furniture while Hunter gets his Ferrari and Rolls-Royce.
As we previously reported, Williams filed for divorce from Hunter back in April 2019 and she served Hunter while at work. The filing came after almost 22 years of marriage and Hunter’s alleged mistress becoming pregnant. The former couple first met back in 1994 at an ice skating rink and got married three years later. The two share one child together, Kevin Hunter Jr., 19.
