Timbaland Samples Whitney Houston On New Track
Over the weekend, super-producer Timbaland took to social media to share a new track that he produced where he sampled the late Whitney Houston’s classic single ” I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”
In the video that the producer posted, Timbaland was in a pink-hued illuminated studio. He said, “This one right here is special,” before playing the track.
Timbaland then mouthed the beats as they played. The producer then continued to let the track play as he bobbed his head.
Houston can be heard singing, “When the night falls,” on the slow-tempo track.
A myriad of fans left the producer positive feedback regarding the track. One person commented that Timbaland was a “musical genius” while others discussed who they would want to hear on the track or who they could see creating a song for it.
