Saweetie Teases ‘My Type’ Remix Featuring Jhene Aiko And City Girls
There’s exciting news for fans of Bay Area rapper Saweetie. The “Icy” rapper recently took to Instagram to tease the remix to her single “My Type.”
On Tuesday (Aug. 20), Saweetie shared artwork for the single that included animated figures of herself alongside Jhene Aiko and Yung Miami of the Miami rap duo City Girls.
The artwork only had an animated figure of Yung Miami, but it also had City Girls underneath Yung Miami’s name. However, JT of the City Girls is still currently incarcerated but is expected to be home in a few days, as Yung Miami alluded to in a recent Instagram post. It’s currently unclear whether or not JT will be a part of the remix, but perhaps she won’t be due to the fact that she isn’t featured on the artwork.
“The first MY TYPE remix dropping this Friday 8/23,” Saweetie wrote in the caption of her photo. “Y’all ready for whetttt?!”
