Kodak Black: Did He Actually Apologize To Yung Miami?
Rapper Kodak Black recently issued Yung Miami what some are interpreting as an apology.
“#YungMiami Gimmicks are for suckas, as I sit back I realize how petty that move was and as a man it’s certain things we refrain from,” Kodak Black tweeted, over the weekend.
He also did the same to Yung Miami’s boyfriend, Southside. “@sizzle808MAFIA Ain’t no smoke wit you bra f*ck that lame sh*t I pray y’all have a healthy baby and live a prosperous life. Besides b**ch we got more hits to make,” Kodak tweeted.
However, the Florida rapper (who is currently incarcerated) deleted the tweets.
Some publications such as Complex and Hip Hop DX are reporting that the rapper issued an apology, but he never directly stated that he’s sorry or that he apologizes, only that what he did was petty.
Some fans on social media are also speculating that he only said what he said so that people don’t consider him as the culprit of the shoot out that Yung Miami experienced last week in Miami.
Last month, Kodak caused controversy when he shared a freestyle on social media that the rapper recorded over a jailhouse phone.
In the brief freestyle, Kodak threatened to harm Yung Miami, who is one half of the rap duo City Girls.
“I bought Yung Miami a ring, she bought an 808 baby/When I see her, I’ma hit that b**ch in her stomach/The way I keep this sh*t too real they say I’m f**king up my money,” he raps.
Yung Miami’s boyfriend, Southside, who is an 808 Mafia producer responded to Kodak Black in a clip via Instagram.
“Somebody tell Kodak ‘suck a d**k,’” he said. “How ’bout that? Get up out of jail first, p**sy.”
Kodak snarkily responded to Southside. “I Ripped Dat Bih Ainna ?!!” he wrote. “@808mafiaboss Put A Beat To It.”
Yung Miami also took to social media to address the situation. “Poor a** ni**a Kodak ain’t dust sh*t!” Yung Miami said.
