‘The Boondocks’ To Return To Adult Swim For New Season
The Boondocks is returning to Adult Swim with a new season.
John Witherspoon, who portrays the voice of “Granddad” on The Boondocks noted on the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience that the show is currently in pre-production for a new season, reports Bubble Blabber.
It’s not clear yet if the show’s creator, Aaron McGruder, or its producers Brian Ash and Carl Jones are involved.
Academy Award-winner Regina King, who portrays the voices of both “Huey” and “Riley” has stated on multiple occasions that she’s always game for returning to the cartoon series.
