ScHoolboy Q And YG Postpone Releasing New Music Due To Nipsey Hussle’s Death
ScHoolboy Q and YG both decided to postpone releasing new music due to the death of Nipsey Hussle.
Yesterday (Apr. 3), ScHoolboy Q shared that he wasn’t putting out new music via his Instagram story.
“Y’all got the game f**cked up if y’all think I’m trying to put out music tomorrow. I’m not putting out no f****ing music tomorrow. It’s not cool,” he said. “Nobody should be putting nothing out this week.”
ScHoolboy Q went on to explain that his music was already in rotation on the radio, and he thanks the radio stations for pulling his music at his request. He suggested that everyone should wait until at least next week to drop new releases.
YG also stated on Twitter yesterday that he was going to drop a surprise album on April 12, but due to Nipsey Hussle’s death, he’s pushing it back until May. “LONG LIVE @NipseyHussle my brother from the other color,” YG wrote.
