Did You Know There Is A Professional Pillow Fighting League?
Mixed martial arts sports and combat competitions such as the UFC are extremely popular these days. However, there is another physical battle happening inside the ring that enthusiasts should be aware of. Are you familiar with the professional pillow fighting league, PFC?
Appropriately standing for “Pillow Fight Championship,” the PFC “is the world’s first professional pillow fighting league featuring professional fighters engaging in intense, fast-paced and all ages-friendly combat [sport],” they explain.
Here is the catch. PFC was designed so that anybody interested can partake. You do not have to be a seriously trained combat athlete. In fact, the PFC has put together a simple guideline to educate those are interested in how they can get started.
Key points of PFC include not physically hitting your opponent with any part of your body, but only with a pillow. Overhead strikes are not allowed, and you can not grab or steal the other person’s pillow.
What you can do is swing you pillow with force, dodge opponent strikes, and incorporate flashy moves into your routine.
You can watch an instructional video on what PFC is all about here.
Pillow Fighting Championship Events To Be Aware Of
The good news is that there is an upcoming PFC fight coming up on April 5. The challenging news (if you are interested in attending) is that it will be in Expo Center Norte Sao Paulo, Brazil, as part of the Arnold Sports Classic South America. Earlier this year, there were two events in Columbus, Ohio (February and March).
For those looking to learn more, you can read all about the additional rules on FightPFC.com. This includes the terms you need to know and scoring system. Typically, three judges score each match. If the bout ends in a tie, the score is settled via a 30-second tie-breaker round.
You can also purchase an official PFC combat pillow (equipped with straps). There are both standard and youth options available.

5 NFL Teams That Will Look Very Different in 2024
Football is the kind of sport that isn’t very forgiving when it comes to having time to turn things around. If a coach or staffers aren’t working out in a very short period of time, fans and owners usually move on quickly. I get it. There is a lot at stake. But, that said, each year, several NFL teams end up looking very different from what they did the year prior. The upcoming 2024 season is shaping up to be one of those seasons. So, let’s get into some NFL teams that will look very different in 2024.
Before I get into the list, I want to point out one of the main reasons why so many teams will look different in 2024 than they did in 2023. Lots of head coaches are changing. Believe it or not, the NFL is replacing a quarter of its head coaches in 2024. That’s so wacky. But, it should make for some really exciting games coming up. I’m not one to wish away the spring and summer, but fall can’t get here fast enough.
One team that I’m not including on this list, and one that might draw controversy, is the New England Patriots. They will be entering their first year without longstanding head coach Bill Belichick. So, why wouldn’t they be a team that’s going to look vastly different next season? Well, they’re bringing on Jerod Mayo, who is totally in the family. He’s been with the Patriots for years. Robert Kraft promoted the former Patriots star from within, much like former player Dan Campbell was given the head coaching role with the Detroit Lions. So, yeah, not too different, in my opinion.
Here are five NFL teams that will look vastly different in 2024. Which teams are you going to be watching next season? Hit us up on social media and let us know. Find the 2024 NFL schedule here.
