Party With Us In Charlotte On New Years Eve!
Was your 2022 as great as you planned? If not come party with us so we can cheer you up! I just heard an interesting theory about goals, they suggest making resolutions according to the season. For instance, make resolutions during Spring cleaning time. Versus in the middle of Winter when nature is shedding. Getting rid of the old to bring in new experiences makes Springtime a divine time. I digress, back to the party on New Year’s Eve. We’re lucky to have a fun presenting sponsor, Ally, and our corporate sponsor Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated come on board for the 2023 celebration in Uptown. Mark your calendars for Charlotte’s official New Year’s Eve celebration on Saturday, Dec. 31, at 8:00 P.M. Not sure if you drink alcohol, but there are so many yummy nonalcoholic beverages, plus there are food trucks on the premises.
According to the official FUN committee, the action starts at 8:00 P.M. with food trucks, a DJ, and holiday activations brought to you by Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated. By 10:00 P.M. you’ll be able to see the band Mo’ Money jump on stage! And right before you give your lovely a big kiss and 2023 lights up the “Charlotte crown” fireworks will ring in the new year. Representatives from presenting sponsor Ally, corporate sponsor Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, and others will help lead the countdown.
As a part of this event, Levine Avenue of the Arts will close between South Tryon and South Church streets at 9:00 A.M. on December 31. South Tryon Street will close between Brooklyn Village Avenue and MLK Boulevard beginning at 5:00 P.M. on December 31. Both streets will reopen during the overnight hours. Drive safe, and happy new year to you and yours!
