Volunteers Needed For Over-The-Counter Medicine Giveaway
NC MedAssist is one of the most lighthearted nonprofits we have ever met. The work they do is crucial when it comes to free medications. NC MedAssist is hosting a local Mobile Free Pharmacy Event sponsored by Novant Health. The event will take place this Friday, June 16, 2023, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Reeder Memorial Baptist Church. Meet us at 3725 Beatties Ford Rd. in Charlotte, North Carolina. This free medicine giveaway is open to individuals 18 and older and families needing over-the-counter medication. No identification is required, and there are no income restrictions. Everyone is qualified.
Participants will be able to learn more about NC MedAssist’s free prescription pharmacy program and receive free OTC items such as cough and cold medicine, vitamins, children’s, allergy medication, and first aid products, but only while supplies last. Additionally, Moms Demand Action will be providing information on what it takes to keep families safe from gun violence. Volunteers are needed!
