Just in time for the start of the school season, South Carolina residents get to enjoy the weekend tax-free! Parents getting back-to-school items for kids are in luck. Starting Friday (August 5) through Sunday (August 7 @midnight), people can shop tax-free in South Carolina.

And you don’t have to be in a store to take advantage of the tax-free items. Shoppers will be able to avoid paying the 6% state sales tax and local taxes online as well. That’s as long as items in their cart are eligible. And here’s the best part. Shoppers won’t have to pay delivery charges or fees.

Here’s a list of items that ARE tax-exempt.
