Tyra Banks Redefines “Beauty” With New Docu-Series

Former supermodel Tyra Banks is really living up to the adage “Boss Chick”.
For years, Banks has been an advocate for positive body image. From creating and hosting “America’s Next Top Model,” to launching her upcoming model-themed amusement park, “Modelland” and now executive producing and starring in a multi-part docu-series called Beauty.
This mini series will dig deep, “break down barriers”, and “challenge traditional notions” of beauty, all while delivering a thought-provoking viewer experience.
The show is expected to be two to four hours in length, with each one divided into segments that will be no longer than 10 minutes each. The service is slated to launch on April 6, 2020.

When she’s not on air, you can find JD getting involved in the community and embracing Black-owned businesses and stories online. She enjoys writing about small Black-owned businesses, our HBCUs as a grad herself, and all things supporting women.
