Levi’s Teases Exciting Collaboration With Beyoncé
Like Beyoncé sang on her collab with Post Malone on “Levii’s Jeans,” “Oh, you wish you were my Levi’s jeans.” Well, soon you just might be rocking the same denim as Queen Bey herself.
On Monday (Sept. 23), Levi’s dropped a major hint about a possible collaboration with Beyoncé. The iconic denim brand posted an Instagram shot of what seems to be Bey channeling her inner cowgirl, complete with a cowboy hat and horseback vibes, serving up a major Cowboy Carter mood.
Tagging Beyoncé in the post, Levi’s teased fans with a cryptic caption: “INTRODUCING: A New Chapter,” and their bio got everyone buzzing with, “Let the countdown begin.”
Fans are already making their guesses. One predicted, “COWBOY CARTER WORLD TOUR SPONSORED BY LEVIIS,” while another simply said, “She gives us everything except the visuals [crying emoji].”
Clearly, wallets are starting to feel the Beyoncé effect! One fan exclaimed, “I don’t have no more money, Beyoncé!” while another echoed, “sighs and pull out credit card.”
If this collab happens, it’ll be the first official one between Bey and Levi’s. After “Levii’s Jeans” dropped in March, Levi’s saw a major sales boost, and CFO Harmit Singh didn’t shy away from giving Bey her flowers. “There’s no better person than [Beyoncé], who we call the center of culture,” he said back in April.
From Mickey Mouse to Justin Timberlake, the clothing brand has seen its fair share of collaborations over the years. For the Fresh Leaves collection, Timberlake teamed up with Levi’s design team to give some of the brand’s most iconic pieces a fresh twist. “Clothes are as important to a musician’s creative process and performance as the music itself. This Levi’s collection is my attempt to share some of my experiences with fans,” the singer shared with the brand.
But wait, there’s more. As September winds down, Beyoncé is keeping busy with more than just denim. She recently dropped a new promo video for her whisky brand, SirDavis American Whisky. The ad, shared on her Instagram on Sunday (September 22), celebrates both the spirit and the superstar herself.
Set to the soundtrack of Betty Davis’ “They Say I’m Different,” the video begins with Beyoncé getting her hair done for a photo shoot, before stepping out with a fresh look. Later, she is seen relaxing in a dressing room, aboard a jet, and at a ranch, dressed casually in jeans and a tank top. Throughout the video, the words “The Muse,” “The Founder,” and “The Woman” flash on the screen against an off-white background.
