And the Palmetto State ranked 3rd making it one of the most difficult states to fill open positions in nationwide. The data shows that in the last month in South Carolina the rate of open jobs in the state was 7.10% and for the last twelve months it was 7.7%. This placed South Carolina third on the list behind Alaska and West Virginia.

It should also serve as a reason for employers to take care of the employees they have. However, this can also lead to an increase in prices in an economy that is already overwhelmed by inflation.
