Janet Jackson Makes Out With Backup Dancer Onstage
Janet Jackson shared a surprise onstage kiss with her backup dancer Darius “Dario” Boatner. This was during one of her tour stops on the Together Again Tour. After seeing the video online, fans had mixed reactions.
“She’s too old for this,” one fan wrote in the comment section of the post. Another fan was more encouraging of the onstage kiss, referring to Mariah Carey and her current dance boo Brian Tanaka, “This is giving Mariah Carey and Brian Tanaka and I’m here for it.”
“If you know Janet and her concerts, this isn’t shocking at all,” one fan wrote. “Janet always stuns the crowd. Nothing to see here.”
“Ma’am has BEEN doing this for ages. Who cares how old she is, she’s selling out shows and having fun. I’m here for it motha,” another fan chimed in.
This is not the first time Jackson has gotten promiscuous on stage. Many of her day-one fans pointed to her Velvet Rope Tour as evidence. However, as for her current tour, last month, Jackson had a very sensual performance with another dancer, Mariusz Maniek Kotarski.
Jackson is accompanied by Ludacris on the tour which began in April and concludes later this month. Last month, Lil’ Kim joined Jackson at the Allentown, Pennsylvania stop of the tour to fill in for Luda while he was getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The “Lady Marmalade” rapper gave Jackson her flowers for being an inspiration to her career.
“She represented me, a hood girl! I’m from the hood. I knew I could rap, but I was like, I wanted to do something different,” Lil Kim said about Janet per HipHopDX. “I didn’t want to be the normal rapper. I love MC Lyte, I love Salt-N-Pepa, I love Queen Latifah – but I was like, ‘I want to do something different! I want to be a rap Janet Jackson.'”
Jackson thanked Lil’ Kim on Instagram by sharing a post-show selfie.
“Kim, thanks so much for filling in while Luda was out getting his much deserved star on the walk of fame…Love u sis [red heart emoji],” Jackson wrote.
