Who Profits From U.S. Wars?
Captain Allen B. Clark of the U.S. Army lost 20 pints of blood in Vietnam right before his 25th birthday. Clark wrote a book titled Soldiers’ Blood and Bloodied Money: Wars and the Ruling Elites. You can see the YouTube trailer, here. His story of an enemy attack on his Green Beret camp in Vietnam in 1967 resulted in the amputation of both of his legs below his knees. It took 15 months of rehabilitation, 20 surgeries and eight years of psychotherapy, but still went on to live a rewarding life. Clark goes deep researching what haunted him regarding how wars are initiated. Living through what he experienced gives us a birds eye view of demystify wars and the motivations behind them.
Clark shares the results of his extensive and concentrated research. His findings, drawn from sources published as far back as 150 years ago, point to individuals and institutions throughout history who have fostered and fomented horrendous wars, including arms merchants; religious entities and their leaders; politicians; international bankers; media titans; and lawyers. DAM! Really? Have we been living in an altered state of reality, thinking that wars are organic to some degree? In 2022, fighting for your country has a stank on it. Yuk! Clark says, members of the military fight to take care of each other, not for glory, and little do we know the behind-the-scenes characters who profit from our dedication to our nation,” Wow, that’s a lot to intake, but an eye opener.
