The book writing game has changed within the past 5 years. Everyone in the book game is after best selling others. There are coaches out here promising to put you in best selling status, but you have to decipher how much they’re charging for it. One big part of writing a book is not loosing momentum and aware of all the distractions that will happen. I know someone who wrote a book in 5 days, but it dam near made her crazy because of daily demands. Back in the day authors wanted to make New York Best Selling Author, but Amazon is the biggest book seller in the game.
If you want to write a book and control sales, money and status, be a Wide Author. Publishing “wide” and distributing on multiple platforms, sounds like you’re in-charge versus handcuffing yourself to one outlet. Another choice is selling an audiobook of your masterpieces, and that’s another option as well, but hiring a good narrator can get expensive. If someone is offering to narrate your book charging $100 run away as fast as you can. Whatever choice you make always protect your works because folks love to sue these days. Before hiring anyone, go to YouTube and research, then Google, and lastly get good referrals.
