Fans are not feeling Summer Walker's new single "Ex For A Reason" that dropped Friday.

The single is a precursor to her sophomore album, set to drop Nov. 5. "Ex For A Reason" features JT of City Girls, as both she and the R&B crooner sing about a man “that got his attention all over the place” and in the long-run hopes her fans will "learn from my mistakes.”

However, the Atlanta songstress never wanted "Ex For A Reason" to be the single for the new album.

“Stop @-ing me,” she wrote on her Story per HelloBeautiful. “The first song I wanted to release was called Toxic but we here now. I had no say in making this decision. So let’s just move past it now. We’re here now, so leave me alone.”

The 20-track album only decided to share selected songs from the tracklist that the musician included in an Instagram post featuring the intro titled "Bitter," "Ex For A Reason," and she concludes the album with a  narration by Ciara called "Ciara's Prayer."

Look how fans have since responded to the song:
