A former flight attendant is commemorating the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks.
He’s doing it by pushing his beverage cart from Boston to Ground Zero. Paulie Veneto started the final leg of his journey yesterday. Veneto says United Airlines Flight 175 was his regular route but he was off September 11th. The doomed flight would go on to be hijacked and crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center, killing all on board.
“Paulie’s Push” honors the crew members who were on board the deadly flights 20 years ago. His trek started two weeks ago at Logan International Airport and will end at Ground Zero on Saturday.
