President Joe Biden Billboard In North Carolina Goes Viral
North Carolina is in the news again. This time over a Joe Biden billboard in Wilmington North Carolina. The digital billboard shows President Joe Biden eating an ice cream cone. The photo is superimposed over an image of a helicopter evacuating people from the U.S. embassy in Afghanistan. The photo was taken during the chaos of the U.S. Troops being withdrawn from Afghanistan. Another photo that rotates after the first features Biden looking out from behind closed window blinds. News station WECT first reported on the billboard Wednesday.

The Billboard is owned and operated by Tedder Outdoor media. Donald Tedder, president of the company told WECT the “advertisements” were purchased by an individual and not a group but due to privacy issues, he can’t give any other details. He did say that he has run billboard campaigns for an array of political parties and causes and would have no issue running a pro-Biden ad if a client approached him with it.
Donald Trump Jr, the son of the former president who has several connections to North Carolina posted the picture on Instagram last night. The caption reads:
“This is apparently a billboard in Wilmington, North Carolina from pics that a buddy sent me. They get it thanks guys hopefully the rest of the world doesn’t have to keep learning the hard way about the Biden administration’s incompetence.”
Biden has been under fire in recent days for his handling of the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan. Thousands of US Citizens and allies have been stuck in the country as the Taliban quickly took control. People are going to extreme measures, even trying to grab and hang on to military planes, to escape the now terrorist-run country. The president has pledged Special Immigration Visas as a way to relocate Afgan translators and interpreters who have been of assistance to US Troops during their years in Afghanistan.
Biden made his first remarks on Afghanistan on Monday at the White House, in which he dismissed criticism of his decision to withdraw troops. He stated that if anything this situation proves this was the right decision. Regardless of your political opinion, it’s a sad situation that’s occurring. I truly hope all American citizens, allies, and anyone else in imminent danger are able to get out of the country safely. Do you find the Joe Biden billboard in North Carolina funny or offensive?
