Five new retailers are coming to Charlotte Premium Outlets. The shopping center, located near Interstate 485, will welcome Allen Edmonds' first Charlotte store among its new additions.
This summer, shoppers will find two shoe stores. A Hey Dude store will offer casual footwear, while Allen Edmonds will open its high-end men's shoe store at 5404 New Fashion Way. Nearby, Shake Shack plans to open its restaurant in front of Saks Off 5th.
New Stores Coming to Charlotte
At Allen Edmonds, expert craftsmen turn premium leather into shoes using a detailed 212-step process. Hey Dude takes a different approach, making lightweight shoes using environmentally friendly materials.
More changes are coming next year. Buckle, which began in Nebraska, will open its store selling casual clothing and denim by late 2025. Jewelry lovers can check out the new Pandora store, where they can create custom combinations of pieces.
Not all changes are additions. Cuzzo's Cuisine shut down after operating for just one year.
Property owners Simon Property Group Inc. and Tanger Factory Outlet Centers Inc. continue seeking new retail options. Their goal? Create a diverse mix of stores to attract more shoppers.
While Shake Shack secured its location last summer, the opening date remains unknown. Soon, shoppers will be able to enjoy those signature burgers between shopping trips.
These updates reflect a larger strategy. By combining retail stores with dining options, the outlet hopes to appeal to different types of visitors - from bargain hunters to food lovers.
