A Woman Broke Into A Dentist Office And Pulled A Few Teeth
A woman broke into a dentist and office and pulled some teeth? Hold on what? I hate going to the dentist every 6 months I’m certainly not going on my own accord and especially not breaking in. This story is nuts but true! A Nevada woman broke into a dentist office (where she previously worked) and she pulled 13 teeth from a drugged patient.
A Nevada woman has been arrested after breaking into a dental office to steal money – and pull teeth. Prosecutors say 42-year-old Laurel Eich broke into Desert Valley Dental – where she once worked as an assistant – and stole nearly $23,000 in cash and checks. But that’s not all – while investigating the robbery, officers also learned that the Nevada woman had once pulled 13 teeth from the mouth of a drugged patient – even though she does not have a dental license. While these were two separate instances it’s still highly concerning. Eich was arrested on multiple felony charges including burglary and performing surgery without a license. She also faces three counts of violation of probation or condition of a suspended sentence.
According to authorities, Eich admitted to several people, including detectives, that she pulled the teeth. She also admitted she used an anesthetic belonging to the dental office. She performed the teeth extractions ‘on her own time’ according to the sheriff’s office. No other information was given on the incident or the ‘patient’ involved.
This is just the type of thing that makes me even more afraid of dentists. I know the odds of it are highly unlikely but it gives the creeps just thinking about it. How does she even get herself in that situation where she could pull the teeth? Where was the dentist? I have way too many questions.
Also, why did a dentist’s office have $23,000 in cash just laying around? That seems sketchy in itself. If this was my dentist I think I’d be looking to switch!
